Swiss-Italian Gianluca Anzani says he is Mexican at heart. 'Having traveled extensively throughout Mexico, I've had the good fortune to meet talented artisans who have kindly taught me the secrets of their crafts. My work mirrors the experiences I have gained throughout my life. It is enriched by a blend of my European roots and those of this beautiful Mexican land.'
Because amber is the preserved resin of prehistoric trees, it may present color variations from greenish yellow to deep orange and sometimes has tiny inclusions of plants and earth - making it highly prized.
